24 Hours of Research

Designing the opening of the danish nation wide event "24 Hours of Research"

Intro

We were responsible for event design for the project ‘The Sound of Denmark’, which was launched in connection with the opening of the nationwide event ‘Forskningens Døgn’. Forskningens Døgn had an ambition to raise the topic about interaction between urban development and nature, and would like to run the opening in a city-like setting to attract the press.
We built the event out of natural materials and colors, to create a natural and relaxed setting that could accommodate both politicians, press, members of the royal family and a hundred school children. We also designed and produced iconic ideas in natural materials, including eg. scene back wall and multifunctional event furniture that helped to ensure the project’s exposure in the press.
There was a massive press coverage in the Danish Media, both digital and offline, and thus great exposure to our designs. The client was so satisfied that we already have the next project lined up. This will launch in 2020. All photos by Søren Kjeldgaard.
